5 Reasons I Recommend The Youth Culture Report

After many years in  youth ministry there is now a news resource that I can recommend and encourage you to use and here’s my top 5 reasons:

5) It’s FREE!

Now this could easily be the number one reason too! In this economy who isn’t into “free”? Simply throwing that word out there can cause a youth pastor frenzy! But this isn’t one of those cheesy websites that has little to offer and therefore it’s “free”. No, my friend. This site is loaded with tons of free material that will help you in any church, position, or role within a student’s life to have a better understanding of the culture and world in which they are confronted everyday! If your church budget is not budging, this is a website for you! It’s free!

4) Relevant and Researched

The Youth Culture Report contains materials from other news organizations, blogs and feeds but they are relevant to people in youth ministry. They are safe links and have previously been researched for content so you don’t have to worry about finding something inappropriate on the site. It’s a safe site for you to peruse and become educated about youth culture. It’s actually news you can use and benefit from!

3) RSS Feeds

The news can actually come directly to you. All you have to do is subscribe and give a little information and everyday the Youth Culture Report can be delivered to your google reader or whatever you choose. It really doesn’t get much easier than that! News you can use delivered right to your smartphone, iPhone, iPad, or tablet!

2) Apps

The YCR also has downloadable apps you can load right to your phones or tablets so that you can always keep up with the latest breaking news, trends, or studies affecting youth today.

1) Updated Daily

With new material everyday, the Youth Culture Report is assisting youth workers like me in great ways. I can easily go to the site each day and get a firm grip on the latest news, trends, studies, or research in a matter of minutes. I don’t have to go to multiple sites and sift through endless information that isn’t relevant. I can find it all at theyouthculturereport.com. If you haven’t checked it out yet or downloaded the app or bookmarked it, I’d encourage you to do it now!
